The Villas at Alvamar in Lawrence Kansas are located on Villa Dr and Fountain Dr in The Reserve.   The 33 villas on Villa Dr and 32 villas on Fountain Dr plus the Clubhouse at 5630 Villa Dr make up the 66 buildings.

Donna Noller of Noller Ford lived in The Villas from 2001 through 2017 at 5640 Villa Dr (property just SOLD by Rob Lang At Home Kansas who lived there 2017 through 2020).  She was the only homeowner who bought two lots instead of one lot.  She paid a total of $550,000 for the two lots, her custom built 3302 sqft house, and her London Garden complete with a chimney pot from a London rooftop.  The photos below show the double lot, the front of 5640 Villa Dr, the open view from the 4th bedroom/office by the front door all the way to the kitchen, and the covered patio off the kitchen through the double French doors with an additional private door from the master bedroom.

Rob Lang, who owns At Home Kansas, and his wife Eula Lang, who is one of the owners of Quilting Bits & Pieces, a 5000+ bolts of fine quilting fabric, quilting supplies, and quilt kits store, bought and made 5640 Villa Dr their home in 2017 after having lived in Deerfield since 2006.  They SOLD the house on 11-25-20.

Donna Noller wanted the 4th bedroom of her 4 bedroom ranch home to be a meeting area to entertain her guests so she finished the walls of this 4th bedroom at table height to have a truly open experience from that 4th bedroom (currently an office although the walls could be extended to the ceiling to be the 4th intended bedroom) to the living room, to the eat in kitchen, and to the kitchen.  This huge open area has a large kitchen picture window and floor to ceiling double French doors for lighting as well as living room windows and 4th bedroom/office windows.  While Donna Noller had multiple paintings in the wall inserts found on the main level of this ranch home, Eula Lang hung several of the her quilts in those inserts.  Atop the kitchen picture window Eula Lang also displayed her 40+ glass ball collection and blown glass sculptures, some of which she made in her glass blowing classes.

5640 Villa Dr has the master bedroom suite with sitting area, with 2018 porcelain tile floors added by the Lang's in both the master, master bath, and master walk-in closet.  The second bedroom and second bathroom are across from the 4th bedroom/office.  The main level laundry is down the hall and serves as a mud room coming in from the epoxy painted floor garage.  The two car oversize garage has about 10 storage doors for cabinets that are floor to almost the ceiling with additional storage up above the cabinets.  The finished basement consists of the 24'x24' third bedroom which Eula Lang used as her sewing and quilting center which included her 12' longarm quilting machine and her sewing cabinet with cutting station plus a 24' long wall of floor to ceiling storage closets for all her quilting fabric which has been referred to Quilting Bits & Pieces Quilt Shop west.  The utility room is also in the basement for additional storage and holds the HVAC and two water heaters.  This villa, like the other 64 villa homes and Clubhouse, has a concrete roof which was marketed as a 50 year roof.

Rob and Eula Lang have had multiple large family gatherings having four kids, their spouses, and their 19 grandkids.  With 3,302 finished sqft the kids have multiple gathering areas and grandkids each have plenty of space to play with cousins.  Photos below are of the kids' quilts and the grandkids quilted leaning pillows shown in the master bedroom, London Garden flowers that bloom various colors in Spring, Summer, and Fall, Rose bush out front, and lilac bush will bloom again soon.

5640 Villa Dr was appraised for $425,000 in May 2020.  The SOLD comps show $424,750.  Asking price was $400,000 and it SOLD for $396,000.
